Sikkim formed was India prepared a constitution for Sikkim which was approved by his national assembly in 1974. Sikkim came into existence on May 16, 1975.
The First Chief Minister of The Sikkim was Kazi Lhendup Dorjee in the period of 16 May 1975 to 18 Aug 1979.
The First Governor of The Sikkim was B. B. Lal in the period of 18 May 1975 to 9 January 1981.
