On April 2, which is World Autism Awareness Day, member nations of the United Nations are urged to take action to increase public understanding of autistic people everywhere. The idea was put forth by Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned, the consort of Emir Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani and Qatar’s representative to the UN, and was endorsed by all of the other members.
